In an effort to get a Baseball game in today, 4/11/25, CC VARSITY will PLAY HOME vs. ELGIN TONIGHT Friday, 4/11/25 at 5 PM. THE JV GAME IS CANCELLED, and NO PRACTICE for JV players.

Kindergarten and 1st grade students presented their spring programs this week at Hannah Crawford. Under the direction of Mrs. Wise, programs, were colorful, entertaining, funny and just plain awesome! Kindergarten delighted a packed house with their favorite songs and dance! The 1st graders presented "Cookies"; a delightful story reminding us it is better to make lots of friend than to always stay with your own "batch". Watch out for those puppies though! Thank you, Mrs. Wise for helping our students create more great memories! Thank you also to the 1st grade and kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Price for sound and lights, Mr. Bell and Mrs. Parsons for taking care of clean up, and so many more. It was a great night!💛🦅🖤
Due to the 2-hour delay, the 4th grade ELA state testing will be moved to Friday, April 11 in the morning. 💛🦅🖤
Quarter 3 Eagle Excellence winners were selected based on their "Readiness to Learn". Congratulations to all of these students that set an example for our other HCES eagles! 💛🦅🖤
Congratulations to our 5th grade ROX girls! Friday they celebrated with their families and even got to show off some of their self defense moves! 💗💛🦅🖤
CC will be on a 2 hour delay on Monday-4/7 for fog.

For the rest of the year starting today, Monday afternoon, 3/31/25, we will be replacing Bus 18 with a new bus and it will be Bus 19. Lisa Hoover will still be the driver, but the bus is now #19. Thanks for time in this matter and GO EAGLES!!

CC was well represented at the Crawford County Chargers Unified Basketball Exhibition game this past Friday. Our CC students of Payne DeGray, Jon DeGray, Cam Powers, Rainy Bacon, Bailey Rossman, and Karra Bowin all performed so well and did an amazing job helping with this Special Olympic contest. The 3rd quarter Accelerated Reader 📚incentive made a real splash!💦 Mrs. Perkins' class did not need "pushed" to enjoy some extra time in the water. Instead, they "dove" right in to celebrate their love of reading! Congratulations students! 💛🦅🖤

CC Varsity & JV Baseball and Softball scrimmages and games are canceled today 3/24/25. Senior Banner and Pictures for Baseball and Softball will be in Mac Morrison Gymnasium after school.

Would like to congratulate all the cast and crew of the CC Performing Arts Department on two amazing and brilliant performances of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." Mrs Eachus, Mr Eachus, Mr Hoover, and Mrs Wise did an amazing job on this musical. All of our students that represented the cast and crew were outstanding and we thank them for all their hard work and dedication!!
