Colonel Crawford High School

Welcome to Colonel Crawford High School. On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration, we would like to wish all students a successful 2024-2025 school year. We truly value the opportunities for both strong academics and extracurricular opportunities that Colonel Crawford provides and hope that you will encourage your son or daughter to take the opportunity to get involved. Strong academics and extracurricular programs as well as a connection to the community help develop a well-rounded individual for the 21st century.

CCHS is a rural high school that offers many educational opportunities. We are privileged to be part of a community that is supportive of maintaining a high level of education. CCHS serves approximately 330 students in grades 9-12. This year over 50 students are attending Pioneer Career and Technology Center in Shelby, Ohio. CCHS had an overall rating of 5 out of 5 stars by department of education on the new state report card, which significantly exceeds state standards. In addition, CCHS has been rated as "Excellent" in years past and has also held the title of "Excellence with Distinction," in previous years. We are extremely proud of all our Teachers and Staff members for all their continued hard work and dedication to making CC the best!

CCHS has many students who participate in the College Credit Plus, as we offer 23 (CCP) courses on our home campus. College Credit Plus allows students to take college classes almost anywhere. Traditional students have taken classes at Mansfield OSU, North Central State College, Marion Technical College, and Marion OSU for college credit, while still enrolled in high school. Credit Plus classes at CCHS (formerly dual enrollment) options from *North Central State College -and- **Hocking College in *Trigonometry, *College Algebra, *Calculus I & II (Mrs. McKibben), and *Statistics (Mr. Enders). *Communications (Mr. Cochran), **Physics, **Chemistry, **Advanced Chemistry (Mrs. Dzugan), *Digital Literacy Application, *Powerpoint, *Word, *Personal Finance, **Accounting, *Excel, *Word, and *Advanced Excel (Mr. Miller), **Psychology & Sociology, *Western Civilization I & II (Mr. Daniels), *Music Appreciation (Mrs. Eachus), *English Composition I & II (Mrs. Parsons). We are always striving to find the best "pathway" for your child.

CCHS also offers a variety of quality extra-curricular programs. Students can choose from 12 different sports to greater enhance their high school experience. CCHS also continues its strong support for athletics, as we were the Northern 10 Conference. Likewise, CCHS offers a strong Performing Arts curriculum and offers a variety of choices, such as Vision, Choir, Band, Musicals, Theatre, etc. We encourage our students to participate in numerous activities at CCHS and again, want to provide a well-rounded education. In addition, CC will again be participating in a Random Drug Testing Program for all athletes and students who drive to school. This is just another outreach in an effort to keep our students safe.

We encourage parents/guardians to monitor student progress through the use of the Progress book. If you encounter any problems with your access password, please contact the high school office. (419-562-4666)

We look forward to the continued support of the parents and community of the Colonel Crawford Local School System. Feel free to stop in or call if you have any questions or concerns. #WeSoar #WeWillSuCCeed #EaglePride
